How to Use

The Luxe Leather Cleaner & Protector Set is designed as a simple two-step care routine for suitable leather handbags: clean first, then protect.

Always patch test both products on a small, hidden area first and allow the test area to dry fully before continuing.

Step 1 — Clean with Luxe Leather Handbag Cleaner

Luxe Leather Handbag Cleaner is designed for gentle, hydrating cleaning and regular maintenance.

Best for:
Routine cleaning, light surface dirt and more delicate or absorbent leathers.

Can be used on:

  • Aniline leather

  • Absorbent leather

  • Vachetta leather

  • Exotic leather

  • Light, coloured and dark leathers

  • Finished leather

  • Unfinished leather

  • Suede

  • Nubuck

How to apply:
Spray the cleaner onto a soft cloth, using enough product to wet the cloth well rather than spraying directly onto the handbag.

Gently work over the leather using light, controlled movements, working one full panel at a time.

On absorbent leathers, the surface may darken during cleaning but should dry back towards its original colour.

Allow the handbag to dry fully before moving on to the protection step.

Step 2 — Protect with Luxe Leather Handbag Protector

Once the handbag is completely clean and dry, apply Luxe Leather Handbag Protector to help protect suitable leather against everyday exposure, including issues such as dye transfer, liquid staining and UV fading.

Can be used on:

  • Pigment-coated leather

  • Aniline leather

  • Vachetta leather

Perfect for:

  • Light-coloured leather to help protect against dye transfer

  • Dark leather to help protect against colour fading

  • Delicate leather to help reduce liquid staining

How to apply:
Apply the protector evenly across the leather, following the directions provided on the product label.

For ongoing protection, reapply every 2–3 months, depending on how frequently the handbag is used and the conditions it is exposed to.

If dye transfer does occur, treat it as soon as possible with Luxe Leather Handbag Cleaner.

Do Not Use the Protector On

The Luxe Leather Handbag Protector is not suitable for:

  • Patent leather

  • Suede

  • Nubuck

The Leather Cleaner can be used on suede and nubuck, but do not follow with the Protector on these materials.
