Last updated: [06/01/26]
This website (www.bagsamore.com.au) (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Freya Bass trading as Bagsamoré (ABN: 99515324430), operating from our Redfern studio, Sydney NSW, Australia (“we”, “our”, “us”).
The terms “you”, “your”, “client”, and “user” refer to any person who accesses our Site or uses our services.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Site and all services provided by Bagsamoré. By accessing our Site or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Site or services.
1. SERVICES
Bagsamoré provides specialist restoration, repair, and colour services for luxury leather goods, including but not limited to handbags, small leather items, and footwear.
Services may include:
Specialist cleaning and decontamination
Surface repair and refinishing
Colour restoration and correction
Full colour transformation
Minor structural repairs
All services are assessment-based and carried out by hand using professional restoration techniques and European-grade products.
Due to the bespoke nature of restoration work, outcomes may vary depending on the item’s material, construction, age, prior treatments, and overall condition. Any images, colour references, digital mock-ups, or examples provided prior to work commencing are indicative only and do not guarantee an exact result.
2. ASSESSMENTS & SUITABILITY
Not all items are suitable for restoration or colour change. Suitability is confirmed following assessment, and we reserve the right to decline work where an appropriate or durable result cannot be achieved.
By engaging our services, you acknowledge that restoration may reveal pre-existing weaknesses, defects, or structural issues not visible prior to work commencing.
3. PROOF OF PURCHASE
For insurance purposes, clients are required to provide valid proof of purchase for each item sent to Bagsamoré. This is required for our courier partner to process any claim in the event of loss or damage in transit.
Items sent without proof of purchase, or via a courier not arranged by Bagsamoré, are not covered under our transit insurance.
4. DELIVERY, COLLECTION & INSURANCE
We offer a courier service for collection and return delivery of items. This service includes insurance coverage of up to $100 per shipment, each way, unless otherwise stated.
Our liability in transit is limited to the value covered by this insurance. Additional insurance may be arranged by the client upon request and at their own cost.
Once items are delivered to Bagsamoré, they are covered under our studio insurance while in our care.
5. PAYMENTS
Full payment is required prior to work commencing. We reserve the right to retain items until payment has been received in full.
Where requested, images of completed work may be provided prior to return delivery. Approval of such images confirms acceptance of the completed service.
6. REFUNDS & RECTIFICATION
Due to the bespoke and irreversible nature of restoration and colour services, refunds are not available once work has commenced, except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of a service, you must notify us promptly. We must be given the opportunity to assess and, where appropriate, rectify the issue before any further remedy is considered.
7. WARRANTY
All restoration and colour services are warranted for six (6) months from the date of completion against faults directly related to the service provided.
This warranty does not cover:
General wear and tear
Ageing or patina
Exposure to moisture, heat, sunlight, or chemicals
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or continued use
Normal wear following restoration
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bagsamoré’s liability is limited to the value of the service provided or the coverage available under our insurance policies.
We are not liable for:
Pre-existing damage or structural weaknesses
Changes in appearance due to material ageing or wear
Indirect or consequential loss
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights available to you under Australian Consumer Law.
