How to Use

You will not need to use every product on every handbag. Choose the product that best suits the material, finish and condition of your bag.
Always patch test on a small, hidden area first and allow the test area to dry fully before continuing.
1. Luxe Leather Handbag Cleaner
Best for:
Routine cleaning, light surface dirt and delicate or absorbent leathers.
Can be used on:
Aniline leather
Absorbent leather
Vachetta leather
Exotic leather
Light, coloured and dark leathers
Finished leather
Unfinished leather
Suede
Nubuck
How to use:
Spray the cleaner onto a soft cloth, using enough product to wet the cloth well rather than spraying directly onto the handbag.
Gently work across the surface one full panel at a time using light, controlled movements.
On absorbent leathers, the surface may darken during cleaning but should dry back towards its original colour.
For suede and nubuck: Apply to a cloth and clean one full panel at a time. Leave to dry for 24 hours, then brush with a suede brush to remove dried product and lift away loosened dirt. Repeat if necessary once fully dry.
2. Luxe Handbag Foam Cleaner
Best for:
Deeper cleaning and more ingrained dirt or grime.
Can be used on:
Finished leather
Non-absorbent leather
Saffiano leather
Epi leather
Coated canvas
How to use:
Always patch test first. If the foam absorbs into the leather, do not continue — use Luxe Leather Handbag Cleaner instead.
Dispense a generous amount of foam directly onto one full panel at a time.
Use a soft-bristled brush, such as a soft toothbrush or dish brush, to gently agitate the surface and lift dirt from the grain.
Once cleaned, wipe away the excess foam and loosened dirt with kitchen paper.
Allow to dry fully and repeat if needed.
3. Luxe Handbag Patent Cleaner
Best for:
Cleaning and refreshing glossy patent leather.
Can be used on:
Patent leather handbags
Glossy patent finishes
High-shine patent surfaces
How to use:
Apply a generous amount of Patent Cleaner to a clean, soft cloth.
Work across the handbag one full panel at a time, gently removing surface dirt and marks.
Once cleaned, use a separate clean, dry cloth to gently buff the remaining product on the surface and refresh the glossy finish.
4. Luxe Handbag Mould Cleaner
Best for:
Mould, musty odours, surface contamination and antibacterial cleaning.
Can be used on:
Leather and fabric handbag surfaces, allowing both the inside and outside of the bag to be treated.
How to use:
Spray the product onto a cloth and use it to remove visible surface mould, dirt and debris.
Pay particular attention to pockets, seams and other accessible areas where mould may be present.
Once the bag has been thoroughly cleaned, spray the Mould Cleaner liberally over all interior and exterior surfaces.
Do not wipe the product away.
Leave the handbag to dry naturally for 24 hours, then inspect for any remaining mould. Repeat the process if necessary.
For musty odours or antibacterial cleaning, follow the same process.
5. Luxe Leather Handbag Conditioner
Best for:
Dry, tired or less supple leather that would benefit from conditioning.
Can be used on:
Pigment-coated leather
Aniline leather
Vachetta leather
Exotic leather
Finished leather
Unfinished leather
Do not use on:
Patent leather
Suede
Nubuck
How to use:
Spray the conditioner liberally onto a soft cloth, then massage gently into the leather.
Work one full panel at a time. Do not spot treat — this is a conditioner, not a cleaner, and treating only a small area may create an uneven appearance.
Very dry leather may darken slightly during application.
Allow to air dry naturally for 24 hours before assessing the result.
Repeat if needed once fully dry and avoid oversaturating the leather.
Once dry, buff with a clean, dry cloth to bring up the sheen if desired.
6. Luxe Leather Handbag Protector
Best for:
Helping protect suitable leather from everyday exposure, including dye transfer, liquid staining and UV fading.
Can be used on:
Pigment-coated leather
Aniline leather
Vachetta leather
Perfect for:
Light-coloured leather to help protect against dye transfer
Dark leather to help protect against colour fading
Delicate leather to help reduce liquid staining
Do not use on:
Patent leather
Suede
Nubuck
How to use:
Apply to a new handbag before regular use, or after the handbag has been freshly cleaned and allowed to dry completely.
Apply evenly across the leather according to the directions on the product label.
For ongoing protection, reapply every 2–3 months, depending on how frequently the handbag is used and the conditions it is exposed to.
If dye transfer occurs, treat it as soon as possible using Luxe Leather Handbag Cleaner.
